Well crafted overview / summary of contemporary scientific views on consciousness. Author is making a point that as consciousness was for a long time not considered a serious area of expertise for a scientists to concern with, even today some of the approaches are regarded by scientific public as 'not serious enough', especially ones such as panpsychism. The author argues that scientist... číst celés are discouraged by such conditions which hinder further scientific progress. As a layman with no scientific prestige or credit at stake, author tries to make a point that hypotheses concerning consciousness such as panpsychism are nevertheless worth examining more closely.
