The 40 Rules of Love written by Elif Shafak is a really beautiful story about the poet Rumi and his life. About how he was perceived in the family where he came and what were the reactions to him were from his surroundings. The form the author has chosen - changing narrators and perspectives - is not so common and is amazingly refreshing. The book in English is certainly more advanced for readers, but it is not that difficult. You can definitely find a lot of nice and practical ideas in it.
