From January 2 to 9, 2023, MAKKABI Germany hosted the first Jewish Winter Games since 1936 in Ruhpolding, Bavaria, with over 400 participants from all over the world. They were last held in Poland in 1933 and in what was then Czechoslovakia in 1936. Then came the Holocaust. After the end of the Second World War, the MAKKABI clubs were rebuilt and theJewish Winter Games returned after 87 years.The documentary tells the story of Jewishness, winter sports and community.
