The importance of cultural diversity in the corporatecommunication context has been widely recognized. However,international and intercultural business or PR related literaturedoes seldom focus on this particular subject. Multinationalorganizations create infrastructures that require people tocommunicate with geographically dispersed and culturally diverseothers. Corporate culture and particular sub-cultures affect thisprocess. Moreover, different national laws and culture-relatedvalues create pressures and consequently communication executivesface multiple challenges. Thus, the purpose of my research was toidentify critical success factors related to cultural diversity incorporate communication management. I wish that especially thecritical incidents included in my book are of benefit to the PR andcommunications students and practitioners alike.
