Although, Swarm TV involves practical aspects of filmmaking, group dynamics and collaboration, the Internet has fundamentally changed the way people can create together and as such it is particularly significant for education and/or situations where a minority community might feel that its voice is not being considered by mainstream media. Swarm TV not only highlights issues of non-hierarchy within group co-creation, but it also provides a practical methodology for it.
