To be honest I love this part of the story being told. Most of this is part of the flasback leading up to being in the present. All the characters get very complex and misunderstandings abound with almost everyone. It's amazing that most of the dialogue in the book is ripped right off the page and put in the show word for word and scene to scene. There is plenty of blood, gore and lots of tension. So much pain, so much love. I find fascinating, the way the author can craft all characters (especially Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji). They are my guilty pleasure. Also a side note, we were robbed of a cerain scene in the show and I am extremely sorry (I know it's through censorship in China) Wish that had been in The Untamed.

"But.. Wei Wuxian looked slightly to the side. He saw Lan Wangji, who stood beside him, without any hint of hesitation, any thought of withdrawing.. this time, he wasn't alone anymore"

Třetí díl novely Mo Dao Zu Shi mě naprosto pohltil. Neočekávané zvraty a neustálé napětí mě držely v naprostém zaujetí a nedokázala jsem knihu odložit, dokud jsem ji nedočetla. Wei Wuxian je pro mě naprosto ikonickou postavou a doslova mým "spirit animal" – jeho humor, odvaha a charisma jsou nepřekonatelné. Doporučuji všem, kteří mají rádi příběhy plné emocí a překvapení. xD prostě ho žeru
