This anthology contains prose works by thirty-three authors and poems by twelve authors who present Easter as a text, from Hryhoriy Skovoroda to the end of the twentieth century. The Easter text tells of life, death, and immortality. It is about sacrifice, forgiveness and redemption. About absolute defeat and undeniable victory. It is about faith, hope and love. Easter is not only a great theme, but also a great code: a great mystery, a symbolic message and a key to understanding.
